Love the salad bar, very peaceful environment very friendly waitresses. The bathrooms were not so great. There was a bad smell in it other than that everything was nice and clean.

I haven't ate at a Stoney's in years. This place was clean and the service was great. There was everything you could possibly want on the buffet. The fruit was fresh and pancakes were hot & fluffy.

I love Shoneys! It reminds me of my childhood. It was always a family favorite growing up and while traveling. We always had to make a stop. I love their breakfast buffet! It has everything you need. Such a variety of good food. They are very rare and hard to find these days. I wish they would open back up more Shoney's restaurants. I love the family atmosphere. I visit the one in Dickson quite frequently and I live about 2.5 hours away in West, TN.

Oh god, what a treat!! I live in Memphis, and one just closed for good and the other is unknown. When I was staying in Dickson for work, and realized that they were not just open; but the breakfast buffet was back; I went immediately there. The food was fresh, hot, and the bacon was fantastic! Our server was great! I can't wait to get back there on the 31st! Thank you, Shoney's!! I have missed you.

In the days of my youth, Shoney's were everywhere. They were known for their Big Boy burgers, strawberry pie, decent coffee, and the famous surprise inspections by Ray Danner, the chairman. His attention to every detail paid off in consistency and cleanliness. After his death and the sale of the company, things were not as good in many of the stores, and the chain closed lots of locations. The Dickson store is certainly top-notch. The food is good, the service is attentive, and the buffet line is kept full and clean The restrooms are also clean. I have eaten here twice and been pleased both times. Mr. Danner would be happy. In his day, waitresses were told, "When the butt hits the seat, the water is on the table!" Coffee was to be good and fresh, but not so good that folks would linger having a third or fourth cup while they tied up the table. I think the Dickson store has adopted his precepts.

Shoneys locations are usually hit or miss. This one is a hit. Great food. Clean restaurant. Friendly staff. We have been a few times and are probably going to be regulars at this location.
